　Rebecca Laws, David Beckham’s personal assistant, claimed in 2004 that she had a sexual relationship with Beckham as his “second wife”.

　In response, Beckham issued a statement implicitly denying the claim. His wife, Victoria, has stressed that the family is happy and there seems to be no rift between them.
